USA Stun Canada With Last Moment Header

Alex Morgan has secured her spot in the highlight reel of the greatest Olympic moments with her fantastic header against North American neighbors Canada to send the United States through to the final where they will get their rematch against Japan and battle it out for the gold medal.

The two sides from North America played out one of the most exciting matches in Olympic history, the final 4-3 scoreline telling the tale of the dramatic victory for the USA. A hattrick from Canada's star goalscorer Sinclair was not enough to take her side through to the final. Sinclair was declared one of the most underrated players in the world and she proved that she certainly deserved to be in the spotlight as she single-handedly put Canada in the lead three times throughout the game. Megan Rapinoe had her fair share of the spotlight as well, scoring two stunning and crucial goals for the United States.
Canada will now play France for the bronze while the USA and Japan will have their World Cup Final rematch for the gold and silver medals.
